In the outbreak of World War I Canadians cheered and they proudly waved their handkerchiefs and hats. They were excited for the war. Was it just pride for their country? Or did that not know what to expect? Maybe they didn't want to admit that many of the soldiers would not come home alive? Now most people don’t cheer about war. Instead it is sad for us when our loved ones go out to war. We know that some soldiers never return home. Did they not understand what war was? When did people stop cheering so much about war? I wish that there was no war, it shouldn’t be necessary. But with so many irresponsible people who want power and money so much, there is no way that we cant have war.
