ok so... what was up with Laura Secord? she was pretty brave and all that but why did they name a chocolate factory after her? was she known for her baked goods? cause if so i think that should be in the readings. much more interesting that warning of some sneak attack by the americans! k.. just kidding. in all seriousness, i think its really cool that shes getting recognition for what she did. women are left out a lot of history things, maybe because they didnt do much in the war aspects but she braved so much and got wounded feet and she sacrificed it all for her nation. i give her definite props for that! thank you for sharing that story in the readings! gave me a whole new thing to ponder the next time i buy some fudge at the local mall.

To be honest I'm not sure why the chocolate company is named after her.
You could probably Google the answer.

i went to the website and this is all it said..
In 1913 Frank P. O’Connor began a small, Toronto-based candy business selling hand-made chocolates. He adopted the name Laura Secord, after the Canadian heroine because she was an icon of courage, devotion and loyalty.
why you have to be courageous to make chocolates, i dont know but its a nice thought. haah
