1.) In the hand out notes you gave us, under the French-Indian War column, it talks about this war lasting from 1754 to 1763. Then to the right of the column it says "Seven Years War: another name used in reference to the French-Indian War (1754-63)". This war lasted nine years, why would they call it this?
2.) During King William's War, Raddison and Groseilliers took their idea of establishing a series of trading posts in the "north-west" to the English. This lead to the English establishing several trading posts in the Hudson Bay area. Why were the French not furious with the two Frenchmen/traitors? Or were they? What ended up of these two Frenchmen?

I suppose the 1754 date would be when tensions began and then 1755 when official hostilities broke out...
The French were absolutely furious with Groseilliers and Raddison. I think the merchants of Montreal actually had a contract put out on the two French mentioned above. I can't remember what ultimately happened to G. and R. but I have a feeling they didn't settle down in Quebec.
