The seven years' war is another name used to the French-indian war (1754-63). Was a major military conflict that lasted from 1756 until the conclusion of the treaties of Hubertusburg and Paris, in 1763. This world has been described as the First World War. The concessions made in 1763 Treaty of Paris ended France's position as a major colonial power in the Americas (where it lost all claim to land in North America east of the Mississippi River and West Indian islands). The treaty of Paris was called the Peace of Paris, or the Treaty of 1763, was signed on 10 February 1763, by the kingdoms of Great Britain, France and Spain, with Portugal in agreement for ended the seven years' war or the french - indian war. :)
