During the past month we have been talking about wars between the English and the French. Everything is about what one person has and what one person doesn’t have. Some people have the prime spots for the fur trades and some don’t. They have been fighting and having wars about it. How come at that point of time they didn’t make an agreement to share the fur trades? They spent so much time and energy to fight over who gets what. Why didn’t they make an equal agreement? I realize it was a big deal to both the English and the French, but if they both wanted it so bad they should have just shared. Or split up the land equally. Any thoughts?

Why share if you can have it all? Humans by and large are selfish and look after their own group first and foremost.
